A training program for teachers interested in teaching Logic to students in grades 9-12.

Why Logic?

Logic - being able to reason clearly - is fundamental to almost everything students do:

  • The subjects they study; the professions they pursue. Computer programming, mathematics, the sciences, social sciences, the humanities, the arts, medicine, law all require students to read, write, and think critically.
  • What they decide. Advertisers, politicians, companies, and organizations, friends, family, and experts in a field - all at some time want students to buy their products, vote for them, or support what they believe and want to do. Logic helps to spot the hype, the nonsense, who is wrong and right.
  • How you think and formulate your own opinions and views. The students use the language of logic to state observations, define concepts, and form theories. They reason to reach conclusions and solve problems all the time. They explain their conclusions to others.

With logic, students can succeed and move forward.
